Mr Richard Thomas, the former UK
Information Commissioner, was invited to
share his views on the importance of data
protection from a corporate governance
perspective. The talk was well attended by
some 70 CEOs and senior executives of
local organisations. Among the attendees
were Executive Council member the
Honourable Bernard Chan and Chairman
of the Legislative Council Panel on
Constitutional Affairs the Honourable Tam
Yiu-chung.
