公眾教育巡迴展覽

七個地點舉辦公眾教育巡迴展覽，推廣
保障個人資料和私隱的重要性。巡迴展
覽旨在協助市民認識條例所保障的個人
資料私隱權，以及了解條例去年經修訂
後對日常生活的影響。公署於巡迴展覽
期間派發新出版的《個人資料私隱，自
己作主話事》小冊子。
A public education roadshow was
launched in seven locations from
December 2013 to March 2014 to
promote the importance of personal data
and privacy protection. The roadshow
aimed to enhance public awareness and
understanding of individuals’ privacy
rights under the Ordinance and how the
recent amendments to the Ordinance
impact on everyday life. Copies of a
newly-published handbook ’

distributed during the roadshow.
大學保障私隱活動
University Privacy Campaign
以大學生為對象的校園推廣私隱活動於
去年
10
月展開，公署走訪本港十間大專
院校，舉行巡迴講座及有獎攤位遊戲，
以互動形式介紹條例如何保障個人資料
私隱，以及分享使用智能電話保障私隱
的實用資訊。公署亦藉此機會向教職員
講解資料使用者在條例下應履行的責
任，妥善處理學生和員工的個人資料。
The PCPD embarked on its educational
programmes for university students in
October 2013 with campus tours across
ten local universities. The campaign
introduced how the Ordinance protects the
personal data privacy of individuals and
shared practical tips on data protection
while using smartphone through a series
of talks and interactive booth games. The
PCPD also explained to university staff
the kind of obligations they have as data
users under the Ordinance, and how
they should handle the personal data of
students and staff.
