Webinar on “Protection of Personal Data Privacy for the Estate Agency Sector”
Estate agents will collect, use and handle clients’ personal data in their daily business operations. Protecting clients’ personal data is undoubtedly an indispensable part of the provision of high-quality and professional services by the estate agency sector.
Against this background, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) and the Estate Agents Authority (EAA) co-organise this webinar to explain to estate agency practitioners the proper protection of personal data privacy, and the doxxing offences under the Personal Data (Privacy) (Amendment) Ordinance 2021. The speakers will also elaborate on the direct marketing regime and the Personal Data Privacy Management Programme, as well as share cases in relation to the mishandling of personal data involving estate agency practitioners and some good practices in personal data management with the participants.
All estate agency practitioners are welcome to attend this webinar. Attendees will receive 1.5 CPD points from the EAA.
