PCPD’s Privacy Awareness Week 2022 Event –
“Learning and Teaching Privacy on Social Media” Online Forum

“Learning and Educating Privacy on Social Media” Online Forum

Nowadays, social media is becoming part of our daily lives. Many educators have been devoting their efforts to raising youngsters’ awareness of the importance of protecting their personal data privacy when they use social media and their social media etiquette.

In view of this, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) and the Hong Kong Association for Computer Education (HKACE) will jointly organise the “Learning and Teaching Privacy on Social Media” Online Forum. Speakers will share key issues on personal data privacy relating to the use of social media and their teaching experience on media etiquette with teaching professionals, with a view to helping them to educate students on the importance of respecting others’ privacy and instill a right attitude in students when using social media.

The event is supported by the Education Bureau. Attendees will receive 1.5 CPD hours from the Education Bureau (EDB).

Enrolment is on a first-come-first-served basis. Please click the below link to register for the event via the EDB Training Calendar System:
