In this online sharing session exclusively for DPOC members, four award-winning organisations of Privacy-Friendly Award 2021 from different sectors will share their success stories in building a good organisational culture of respecting and protecting personal data privacy, as well as their practical experience in personal data management. The details are as follows:

  1. Enrolment will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. The PCPD reserves the right of final decision.
  2. Confirmation email will be sent by 25 June 2021.
  3. The PCPD will not issue records of attendance for participants.
  4. Personal Information Collection Statement: Personal data provided in this form will be used for the purpose of carrying out the above-mentioned event. You have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data held by the PCPD. You should make your data access request by completing the Data Access Request Form (OPS003) and sending the completed Form directly to the Data Protection Officer of the PCPD by fax (2877 7026), by email at communications@pcpd.org.hk or in person or by mail to the PCPD, Room 1303, 13/F, Dah Sing Financial Centre, 248 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
  5. Please note that the Sharing Session may be filmed, photographed and/or recorded for PCPD's future educational purpose.
  6. This Office reserves the right to modify the content and the date of the webinar.

Security measures taken by the PCPD for webinar:

  1. The personal data collected in connection with the enrolment in sharing session will be used for arranging the sharing session. The PCPD will take security measures for storage. The PCPD will not disclose the personal data collected to other parties.
  2. Login information provided by participants is used for statistical purposes and carrying out the above-mentioned sharing session only by the PCPD.
  3. No participants shall publish the content of the sharing session in any format (including but not limited to recording audios and videos) without prior written consent from the PCPD.

Importance notes for participants on data security:

  1. Please log in with your Reference Number. Avoid using misleading name or online nickname so that the host can identify users easily.
  2. Do not share or publish the meeting ID, meeting links and password sent by the organiser arbitrarily.
  3. Ensure that the network connections are safe and secure (e.g. do not use public Wi-Fi, and use strong encryption for Wi-Fi network). Ensure that all devices are installed with the latest security patches and anti-virus software, and properly protected by firewalls.
  4. Participants are recommended to stop screen sharing, mute the microphone and turn off the webcam after logging in.
  5. Do not click any suspicious links during the webinar.
  6. Do not share confidential information during the webinar.
  7. Participants should be aware of any suspicious account activity. Sign out all Zoom account when in doubt.
