香港個人資料私隱專員公署（公署）與亞太區私隱機構成員合作的年度推廣項目──「關注私隱運動」將於2018年5月7至13日舉行，並以「保障私隱 坐言起行」為主題，旨在提倡企業/機構與公眾人士對「保障、尊重個人資料」文化的認識和重視。活動的開幕儀式將於2018年5月8日舉行。
此外，同場亦會舉行「中小企保障私隱運動」的啟動儀式，並邀得專業人士及行業代表於其後的「網絡安全論壇」分享他們對資訊網絡安全範疇中渉及的資料保障問題的見解和經驗。公署希望透過「中小企保障私隱運動」，增進中小企對《個人資料（私隱）條例》的認識，從而加強個人資料的保障，並培養私隱文化。
有關5月8日活動的詳情：
The annual promotional campaign jointly held by the office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data and members of the Asia Pacific Privacy Authorities, Privacy Awareness Week (PAW), will take place between 7 and 13 May 2018, aiming at advocating the culture of “Protect, Respect Personal Data” among corporates/organisations and members of the public. The theme of this year’s PAW is Privacy: From Principles to Practice and the Inauguration Ceremony will be held on 8 May 2018.
Besides, the Kick-off Ceremony of the Privacy Campaign for SME will be held on the same occasion, followed by a forum on Cyber Security, in which the guest speakers from relevant professions and industries will share their insights and experience concerning data protection in the context of cyber security, so as to strengthen the protection on personal data and also nurture the culture of privacy protection.
