Reaching Out to Legal Professionals – Privacy Commissioner Attends Cocktail Reception for the Launch of Sentencing in Hong Kong - Eleventh Edition

The Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (Privacy Commissioner), Ms Ada CHUNG Lai-ling, attended the cocktail reception for the launch of Sentencing in Hong Kong – Eleventh Edition, a legal reference book edited by Mr Ian Grenville CROSS, GBS, SC, the former Director of Public Prosecutions, and Mr Patrick W S CHEUNG, barrister, on 3 July.
 
Sentencing in Hong Kong has been published for 30 years and is an authoritative sentencing textbook in Hong Kong. The new edition explains the sentencing provisions for persons convicted of national security offences and incorporates the content of the Safeguarding National Security Ordinance passed in March 2024.
