Enhancing Data Security – Privacy Commissioner’s Office and Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited Jointly Organise a Seminar on Cybersecurity and Data Breach Handling
The Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) and Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC) co-organised a seminar on “Responding to Cyber Security Threats and Data Breaches” in hybrid mode on 19 March, which attracted over 880 participants.
At the seminar, Mr Arktos LAM, Cyber Security Manager of the HKIRC, provided an overview of the latest developments of cyber threats and shared some tips on enhancing cyber security for organisations. Mr Brad KWOK, Chief Personal Data Officer (Compliance & Enquiries) of the PCPD, also spoke about how to prevent and handle data breach incidents.
