Privacy Commissioner Delivered a Presentation on Data Protection for Governance Professionals at the HKICS's 22nd Annual Corporate and Regulatory Update

The Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (Privacy Commissioner), Ms Ada CHUNG Lai-ling, together with Assistant Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (Enforcement) (Acting),  Ms Joyce LAI Chi-man, delivered a presentation at the 22nd Annual Corporate and Regulatory Update organised by The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS) on 11 June 2021.

In the presentation entitled “Data protection for governance professionals”, the Privacy Commissioner explained the six Data Protection Principles to governance professionals and elaborated on the importance of implementing a Privacy Management Programme in companies. Ms Lai also spoke on the handling of data breaches with case examples.
