The Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong, Ms. Ada CHUNG Lai-ling, attended interviews by a number of media outlets on 6 and 7 July 2021 to explain the background and scope of the proposed amendments to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance to combat doxxing, and that the amendments would not affect normal and legitimate business activities. The relevant interviews were hosted by Commercial Radio News, Commercial Radio "On a Clear Day", HK01, Now News, Now News "News Magazine, RTHK News and RTHK Radio 1 "HK2000".
