Thank you very much for your enquiry about the media statement entitled “PCPD Warns Against Phishing Email and Fraudulent Website” issued by the office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) on 13 May 2020. Our response to your enquiry is as follows:

As of 14 May 2020, the PCPD has received one enquiry in relation to the phishing email and fraudulent website in question. The enquirer revealed that she and some of her colleagues received the phishing email. No complaint has been received by the PCPD.

The PCPD has clarified to the enquirer that the phishing email was not from the PCPD. The website link therein was not related to the PCPD either.
