The office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong (PCPD) and the Office for Personal Data Protection (GPDP), Macao co-hosted the 3rd GPEN Enforcement Practitioners’ Workshop on 16 and 17 May 2019 in Macao, China, as an annual initiative of the Global Privacy Enforcement Network (GPEN). With the theme of this year’s Workshop - "Collaborate to Take on the New Norm of Data Breaches in the Digital Age", experienced investigators and case handlers from data protection authorities and other regulatory bodies gathered together to learn and share practical experience as well as promoting cross-border collaboration to empower the authorities to achieve more impactful outcomes of data protection.
